CLUB RULE REMINDER
This is ex-president ~dragon-dan speaking. I have a message for all the members (and anyone watching).

It has come to our attention that people are more frequently +faving deviations in our club's gallery. It is club policy to add member's art to our gallery for the sole purpose of drawing attention to those artists. It is intended that when you want to +fav or comment on a dragon you see in our gallery, you are to follow the link in the description to the original piece.
When you +fav something in this club's gallery, it doesn't do anyone any good. The artist doesn't know you like their art, and it creates clutter in the club's inbox. This message is a plea to everyone and especially to members, if you want to +fav, +fav the original! It takes 1 second longer and makes a world of difference!

There is one other issue to discuss. A rule for joining that everyone should be familiar with is it takes 1 piece of dragon art to join this club. One drawing, one poem, one story, is all it takes. Some people have been submiting upwards of 10+ links to their gallery. By flooding this club's gallery with a couple of people's work, it dissuades people from browsing the club's gallery and defeats the purpose of everyone having work here. From now on the maximun number of deviations the club will accept from a member per month is 4. So make them your 4 best. The idea is to attract people to your gallery, not to bring your gallery here!

It is easiest for the club admins when you pick a single dragon picture that says the most about you, something you would use as a Featured Deviation. People will see it in this gallery, and if they like it they should follow the link to your userpage. I realize 1 as a limit is too harsh, and 4 is managable for the staff. Please don't feel you need to have 4! Quality over quantity.

I hope this has been enlightening for you. It warms my heart to see Elite Dragons busy and active, and I hope everyone understands and accepts these rules because it makes things a lot easier for the wonderful people who keep this club going!
